TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
